On the morning of the last day of term before the Christmas holidays, some of our new Leadership Academy students arrived at Abbey Stadium ready for some training in Multi-skills.

During the morning they completed a number of Fusion Warm Ups. Fusion Warm ups aim to warm up the body and the mind together.



The leaders also had a go at some individual skill cards and thought about how they could use these as leaders and the benefits they hold to those taking part.





They finished the morning by participating in some games of Throw Tennis, which is when it got really competitive!

Before the leaders left, our Gold Young Ambassadors chatted to them about their own roles, and the prospect of the leaders becoming Silver Young Ambassadors.




The leaders were really enthusiastic despite it being very cold! We would like to say a huge thank you to all leaders and volunteers who support the Redditch School Sport Partnership. Without all of you, many of our events would not be able to take place and we are very lucky to have such a large group of high quality leaders.
