On the 11th September, the first North Worcestershire and Redditch School Sport Partnership Captains morning took place at Bromsgrove Rugby Club.
High schools from across the two partnerships brought along their sports captains for this year to be a part of this new and exciting event.
There were a number of tasks throughout the morning, including discussing what a captain is, what qualities make a good captain, and the roles that they play.

The group listened to two speakers with experience of being captains, who gave inspiring accounts about the sort of role they will have to play.
The group were introduced to the new pennants which their school will receive should they win their leagues and they will now all receive a fixtures booklet with dates of all of their fixtures to help them in their new roles.
The event was a huge success with 131 captains from across the 2 partnerships attending and giving great feedback and the event.
Good luck to all of the captains and their teams in this years leagues!
