The North Worcestershire and Redditch SSP Games took place at the end of June at Abbey Stadium in Redditch.

This year over 1000 young people from Primary, Middle, Special and High Schools from across the 2 School Sport Partnerships attended the event and took part in a wide range of sports.

The Sports that took place on the day were Athletics, Ultimate Frisbee, Futsal, Tag Rugby, Dodgeball, Archery, Rowing, Trampolining, Boccia and New Age Kurling. Some of the activities were competitive with medals and trophies awarded to the winning teams. Other events were taster events to allow the young people to try new activities.

Despite an initial huge downpour of rain, the participants were hugely enthusiastic and made the event a massive success.

Thank you to everyone who helped to organise and run the day and to those who participated. It was a fantastic event for everyone to be proud of.
