During the last two weeks of the Spring Term, our SSCO’s have been holding their First School Cross Country Qualifiers. Pupils from the first schools have taken part in a cross country event which has been held at one of their feeder middle schools.

The top seven girls and boys from these events will now attend the next stage of the competition when they will compete against all of the other top seven pupils from schools within their cluster. These events will take place at the high schools.

The first school pupils were really enthusiastic despite the unpredictable weather conditions-well done to all of the pupils who have taken part across the district, and a huge thank you to the middle school leaders who helped with the events and made sure that the first school pupils had a great time!
