On the 22nd January 2009, Redditch saw the annual Sports Partnership Awards for 2008. The event was held at The Palace Theatre and the venue was packed out with nominee’s and their guests. The evening was an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Redditch sports people from the last year.
The evening saw the main awards, alongside presentations of video’s, photo’s and 2 fantastic demonstrations from Redditch Special Olympics and Walkwood Middle School Cheerleaders.
Congratulations to the winners, as well as to all those nominated, the award panel had some very tough decisions to make due to the quality of all nominations.
Winners from Redditch will be forwarded as nominee’s for the County Sports Awards which will take place in March.
