On 28th November, coaches from Aston Villa Football Club came to Redditch to do some work with our most talented footballers from Years 3&4.
Every school was invited to nominate 2 pupils to attend the event which took place at Rideway Middle School. 13 schools each sent 2 pupils who received some fantastic coaching and played in some excellent small sided games of football.
The coaches commented on how much of a successful afternoon it had been. They were very impressed with all of the footballers who attended and they really enjoyed working with them.
Three of the pupils have now been invited to attend development centres at Aston Villa in January and February.
The same event will be taking place in May but this time for pupils in years 5&6.
