The North Worcestershire and Redditch Partnership Games took place at South Bromsgrove High School during National School Sports Week. The event was lucky enough to receive a visit from Dame Kelly Holmes. The Double Olympic Gold Medalist is National School Sport Champion and this event was chosen to be visited as an example of successful Inter School Competition. This joint partnership event was one of only 12 events to be visited during the week.

The inaugural North Worcestershire & Redditch Partnership Games was organised as a further response to increasing inter school competitive opportunities for pupils between the ages of 9-17; working in partnership with a wide range of agencies. The event was a celebration, building upon the successful delivery of the middle and high school league structures which has seen two School Sport Partnerships come together in a variety of fun, fixtures and festivals.
