During half term a selection of year four pupils from schools across Redditch took part in a Multi-skills Academy which took place at Arrowvale Sports Centre.

The participants had been selected by teachers and coaches from the district during a multi-skills afternoon held at Abbey Stadium during May.
During the Academy, which was held over 2 days in half term, the participants took part in activities to improve their basic skills including agility, balance and coordination. They were also given the opportunity to receive some coaching in cricket, table tennis and squash.

The second day was spent at Upton Warren with the participants working in teams and undertaking problem solving and outdoor activities.
